As a Workflow Specialist here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and optimizing operational workflows to improve efficiency, productivity, and service delivery. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and ensure that tasks and projects flow smoothly through the organization. The specialist serves as a key resource in managing workflow systems and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location with an onsite work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Analyze current workflows and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, accuracy, and throughput.
+ Design and implement optimized workflows using process mapping tools and methodologies.
+ Monitor and manage task assignments, timelines, and resource allocation across departments.
+ Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow processes.
+ Provide training and support to staff on new or updated workflows and systems.
+ Track performance metrics and generate reports to evaluate workflow effectiveness.
+ Lead or support cross-functional projects focused on process improvement and operational excellence.
+ Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to workflow processes
+ Responsible to ensure 5S process is followed, continuously improve area, and provide support to operators to ensure required action items occur; maintain work areas and tools according to Visual Management and 5S Standards
+ Follow all prescribed Health, Safety and Environmental rules and regulations; participate in root cause analysis
+ Lead Productivity related projects to improve output
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 3+ years of experience in workflow management, process improvement, or operations.
+ Experience with inventory management systems
+ Experience with quality control processes and standards in a manufacturing environment.
+ Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an assembly setting.
WE VALUE
+ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
+ Prior Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

PAY EQUITY
The salary range for this position is Minimum $68,400 ($32.88/hr) to Median $85,500 ($41.10/hr.) Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
