    As a Quality Control Chemical Lab Analyst here at the Metropolis Plant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our chemical products. Your responsibilities will involve performing laboratory testing on process control samples utilizing a wide variety of analytical instrumentation.

     

    You will report directly to our Lab Supervisor, and you’ll work out ONSITE of our Metropolis, IL location on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

     

    No relocation offered.

     

    In this role, you will impact the quality of our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards and regulatory requirements, which is crucial for maintaining our reputation as a leader in the industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform laboratory testing on process control samples utilizing a wide variety of analytical instrumentation

    + Calibration and maintenance of laboratory instrumentation

    + Preparation and standardization of laboratory reagents

    + Analytical support for improvement projects

    + Analytical support to other departments including Environmental, Health Physics, and Maintenance

    + Ensure compliance with all ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards within the laboratory

    + Perform work and activities within the framework of the Honeywell Operating System

    + Obtaining routine samples and performing analysis within the operating facility when required.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + **At least 3 years of experience in a laboratory environment, specifically in chemical analysis.**

    + **Must be able to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.**

    + Strong knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.

    + Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.

    + Familiarity with quality control processes and standards.

    + Experience with data analysis software and laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

    The annual base salary range for this position is $67,300 - $80,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
