    Logan Health – Whitefish is hiring a Full-Time Cook and we’re ready to get them on board ASAP. If you’ve got kitchen passion, a good attitude, and want more than “just a job”, this could be your place.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    + Creating delicious hot & cold dishes daily for patients, staff, and visitors—following recipes & adjusting for special diets

    + Keeping everything safe & clean: food safety, portion control, proper storage, sanitation & hygiene

    + Supporting service lines: tray-line prep, plating, coordinating timing so meals are served when and how they should be

    + Helping with supplies & inventory: receiving, checking in, putting things away, keeping stations stocked & organized

    + Being part of the team: assisting and stepping up when needed, working with dietary aides, kitchen leads, and nutrition services to make sure everything runs smoothly

    What We’re Looking For

    + Proven experience in cooking or food service (even if part-time)

    + Ability to follow recipes, measure & portion appropriately

    + Knowledge of food safety & sanitation (ServSafe certification or Food Handlers preferred; must be able to get if not already)

    + Strong teamwork skills + dependable & punctual

    + Good communication skills: being able to understand instructions, ask questions, document as needed

    + Able to lift 40-50 lbs, stand for long periods, be comfortable with varying shifts (some early/late, weekend or holiday coverage)

    Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
