Description:
Join the Gaco team, a trusted name in building envelope solutions with a heritage dating back to 1955.
We’re seeking aPlant Managerwho’s ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.
Lead and develop the Norcross Plant in regards of process and cost development

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Lead by principle.
Lead the plant on Plant Development.
Lead the plant regarding volume growth and cost performance and adjust organisation to fulfill growth.
Ensure compliance in work safety (OSHA) and environmental requirements.
Evaluate the teammates performance and identify gaps in education and cross training.
Establish strong process control in manufacturing and align with needs for QI.
Review existing SOP’s and create new ones to improve operational excellence.
Evaluate new production methods and derive executable CAPEX requests from it.
Support business growth by establishing capability to produce new & innovative products in collaboration with R&D and Sales.
Highlight in very early stage gaps between product requirements and plant capability and proactively take steps to resolve them.
Collaborate with Corporate and Plant Engineering to establish equipment specifications.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of proven experience in process engineering in butyl rubber compounding, extruding or similar experience.
5+ years experience as plant manager.
Working conditions
Office located in the manufacturing plant (Norcross, GA).
In the field work includes outdoors and inside manufacturing plant to support troubleshooting, supervise production trials.
Travels required for Management Meetings and trainings <10%.
Physical requirements
Be able to lift 50 lbs
Be able to work on production lines to be able to learn yourself and later instruct new teammates.
