Description:

Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Snowflake Data Architect to work on a 12-month+ contract position with potential perm conversion in Raleigh, NC. This position allows for a hybrid schedule with onsite work 2-3 days per week. This is a hands-on role heavily focused on Snowflake technologies.

_Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis._

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Snowflake-based data solutions in a hands-on capacity

• Develop and drive the implementation of enterprise-wide data architecture strategies

• Lead end-to-end implementation of data platforms including ingestion, transformation, and modeling

• Evaluate and implement new technologies through proof-of-concept initiatives

• Establish and enforce data standards, governance practices, and performance optimizations

Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture or engineering, with strong hands-on implementation skills

• Deep expertise in Snowflake including architecture, performance tuning, and advanced features

• Experience with DBT Cloud, DataVault 2.0, and AWS data ecosystem

• Strong development background with hands-on DBT framework (not just pipeline creation)

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field

Preferred:

• Experience in financial services

• hands-on migration of legacy data systems

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
