Job Description
A leading company in the pharmacy benefit management space is seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with a strong focus on APIs in the healthcare domain. This role involves gathering and writing detailed API requirements, creating implementation guides, and supporting an API catalog. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development teams and business stakeholders to define data elements, use cases, and integration requirements. This position also requires client interaction, including walking through implementation guides and explaining technical details to clients. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is important, as the role may involve prioritizing work within sprints and contributing to ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.

Skills and Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong technical background with API requirements gathering and documentation.
• Strong ability to write SQL queries for performance optimization.
• Experience working with development teams and business stakeholders to define requirements and use cases.
• Demonstrated experience working with relational databases.
• Ability to write user stories.
• Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions. • Experience with healthcare industry standards such as FHIR.
• Knowledge of API catalogs and integration patterns.
• Experience working within an Oracle database environment.
• Experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile leadership role.
• Ability to read and interpret YAML files.
