• Backend .NET Developer (C#/SQL)

    Job Description

    One of our largest clients is hiring a backend developer to help modernize their application. You’ll work with a team of 10 to upgrade legacy systems and implement new client-facing features. Your focus will be on optimizing and maintaining SQL processes and the data warehouse. This includes managing data flows with SQL and SSIS, manually updating reports, restoring backup repositories across environments, and improving the performance of SQL jobs. You’ll also develop APIs using C# within the .NET Framework to streamline data processing across systems. Familiarity with PowerShell and shell scripting will be helpful for automating report tasks and managing the Microsoft Suite environment. This role requires a proactive approach to handling large data volumes and ensuring efficient processing to meet business needs. Strong communication and teamwork are key in this fast-paced, task-oriented environment.

    Skills and Requirements

    • 3+ years of professional experience as a Backend .NET Developer

    • Proficiency in C#, MVC, LINQ, and Entity Framework for data processing, integration tasks, and API creation/modification

    • Strong experience with SQL and Data Warehousing: advanced query writing, database design, performance tuning, and backup management

    • Familiarity with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for transforming and moving data from databases to data warehouses

    • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset • Experience with PowerShell and Shell Scripting for report automation and delivery

    • Familiarity with Snowflake

    • Exposure to GitHub Actions or Jenkins for deployment scripting and artifact generation
