    Job Description

    A client is seeking a skilled and proactive Data Analyst to support a strategic initiative focused on optimizing and restructuring our data and POS systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in exploratory environments, enjoys solving complex data challenges, and can help guide system evolution through hands-on analysis and collaboration.

    Key Responsibilities:

    -Lead efforts to restructure existing POS systems that have outgrown their current configuration.

     

    -Design and implement strategies to split systems into multiple instances for improved scalability and performance.

     

    -Perform data extraction, testing, and loading across various platforms.

     

    -Analyze existing data tables and system architecture to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.

     

    -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.

     

    -Act as a data detective—navigating systems, exploring tables, and uncovering insights without pre-fed datasets.

     

    $50/hour to $55/hour

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.     Skills and Requirements

     

    -Proven experience in data analysis, system optimization, or related technical roles.

     

    -Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and relational databases.

     

    -Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments and drive clarity through data.

     

    -Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools.

     

    -Experience in retail, manufacturing, or similar industries.

     

    -Strong communication skills to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
