Job Description

The role focuses on preparing technical drawings for bridge design projects by applying a strong understanding of geometry, structural components, and guidance from structural engineers. It involves using CAD platforms to develop 2D and 3D models, produce general arrangement drawings, and manage design changes. The position requires working from sketches, verbal input, and computer models to create detailed and accurate views, often with minimal supervision. Responsibilities also include mentoring junior CADD staff, coordinating large drafting projects, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining proper drawing organization. Familiarity with reference/model file concepts and cross-disciplinary collaboration is essential, along with the ability to provide guidance on complex design challenges.

10+ years of experience as a bridge and structure cad designer Knowledge of MicroStation Connect and Open Bridge Modeler (OBM)

Knowledge of Civil 3D
