    Job Description

    The IT Sr. Project Manager will use their project management expertise to lead the project

    team and/or third-party vendor in the planning, execution and closure of IT project(s) while

    ensuring communication is thorough and risk is mitigated consistently. The pay range for this role is $45-$57/hr.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Plan, monitor, and report progress across assigned projects

    • Document project goals, scope, stakeholders, success measures/criteria, etc.

    • Create, maintain, and deliver critical project documentation (e.g.,

     

    communication plans, risk register, issue log, status updates, budget, etc.)

     

    • Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for executive staff

    • Manage project budgets and track burndown

    • Manage use of resources across projects, including managing and working

     

    directly with external vendors, ensuring accountability for contractual

    deliverables

    • Third party contract management; ensure contract deliverables are met.

    • Lead core project team(s) while managing scope, schedule, &budget.

    • Act as collaborative partner with allstakeholders and PMO team members.

    • Lead or participate in business process improvement and issue resolution

    activities

    • project meetings on planned and agreed uponcadence.

    • Provide accurate and timely project statusreports.

    • Report on project management KPIs.

    • Adhere to and champion existing PMO methodologies (ex. Project charter, requirement

     

    tracking, and UAT test results) and governance (ex. documentation of meeting minutes

    and cadence, change control and adherence to agreed upon communication plans)

    • Leadcustomer/user acceptance testing and/or training, as necessary.

    • Close projects, including managing the handover of project deliverables and

     

    holding project reviews/lessonslearned, as appropriate.

    Additional responsibilities as assigned:

    • Assist with the documentation of necessary lifecycle evidence required to adhere to IT

     

    SOX Requirements.

     

    • Contribute to overall implementation of PMO best practices

    Skills and Requirements

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively

    with all levels of management

    • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation, escalation, and influencing skills

    • Several years of progressive experience performing as a senior level IT PM

    • Root cause analysis and continuous improvement mindset

    • Previous experience working with vendors and client-facing roles required

    • Experienced with Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project methodology application

    • Ability to balance the competing demands for quality, scope, schedule, and cost

    • Ability to manage global, large, and diverse teams

    • Ability to document and analyze business and system processes

    • Strong business and organizational acumen, leadership abilities, and sound judgment

    • Working knowledge of enterprise software development lifecycles and best practices

    • Self-management skills, effective presentation skills and strong analytical skills

    • Proficiency in tools like Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and

     

    Power BI.

     

    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps pipelines, and enterprise

    architecture

    • Bachelor’s Degree with 5-7 years of IT Project Management experience PMP certification
