Job Description
Our client is looking for a Azure DevOps Engineer to sit remote nearshore. In this role, the engineer will build and maintain secure Azure DevOps pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning and patching using tools like Terraform and Bicep, and monitor cloud environments to respond to incidents proactively. They will embed security into workflows, maintain detailed technical documentation, support compliance audits, and contribute to cloud migration and modernization initiatives. Half of their time will be working on projects while the other half will be spent maintaining the current operating environment. $20/hr

Skills and Requirements
5-10 years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, etc.
Scripting & Automation: Bash, PowerShell, Linux shells
Strong experience working with Linux
Ability to automate infrastructure tasks and build reusable scripts for provisioning and monitoring
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep
Experience using IaC to manage cloud resources, version control best practices etc.
CI/CD: Azure DevOps pipelines (build, release, security integration)
Cloud Engineering: Azure services (VMs, App Services, Networking),
Past experience deploying and managing workloads in Azure
Experience supporting an on-prem to Azure migration
Security Tools: Familiarity with industry-standard tools (CrowdStrike, Prisma Cloud, Nessus, etc.)
Experience integrating with security, monitoring environments, managing access policies
Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to operate independently Microsoft Certifications: Azure DevOps, Azure
Prior experience working for an insurance or financial company
