Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Lead Data Engineer focused on Analytics and ETL System Integrations to support a rapid proof-of-concept initiative running through the end of the year. This role centers on building the analytics and processing layer that connects various systems across the manufacturing environment. You will design and implement ETL pipelines to transform and integrate data from engineering, quality, and production systems, ensuring real-time insights and traceability. The goal is to feed AI models with actionable data that enables rapid iteration—building parts, running quality checks, understanding results, and refining models for re-manufacturing. You’ll work closely with another data engineer in an agile methodology. Experience with enterprise system integration, data pipeline architecture, and scripting in Python or Glue is highly valued.

Skills and Requirements

• Acted a lead supporting new proof of concepts for at least 3 years

• 8+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics, or systems integration.

• Strong expertise in designing and implementing ETL pipelines

• Deep understanding of data pipeline architecture, including real-time and batch processing.

• Ability to enable system connectivity and ensure traceability across complex environments.

• Experience supporting AI/ML workflows, particularly in rapid prototyping or iterative development contexts.

• Proficiency in scripting languages, especially Python or Glue

• Comfort working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
