    Production Assembler I - First Shift - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

    Reporting To: Production Supervisor

     

    Compensation: $17.00 / hour

    Description

    Knowles Valencia is a seeking reliable, detail-oriented, multi-area Production Assembler to join our team on first shift. This role is responsible for supporting production operations across several functional areas including cutting, screening, testing, grinding, and assembly. The ideal candidate is a flexible team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to different tasks and shifts in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate machinery and tools in designated areas (cutting, screening, testing, grinder, and assembly) following safety and quality standards.

    + Perform setup, calibration, and minor maintenance of equipment as needed.

    + Follow detailed instructions, work orders, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

    + Accurately complete documentation and records related to production processes and quality checks.

    + Monitor product quality throughout the process and escalate any issues to supervisors or quality personnel.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in accordance with 5S principles.

    + Flexibly support multiple areas as required by production demands

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + Experience in a production/assembly environment.

    + Attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.

    + Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

    + Understanding of safety procedures and adherence to quality standards.

    + Able to handle and move objects.

    + Ability to work overtime.

    Knowles is committed to providing a competitive and fair total compensation package for all employees.

     

    One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The pay rate for this role is targeted at $17.00 per hour.

     

    Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Knowles, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company. It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range.
