    As an Employment Specialist you will help students learn and strengthen their life skills as it relates to employment and education.

     

    A typical day might include the following:

    + Using your vehicle to transport individuals to and from job interviews (mileage reimbursement provided)

    + Guiding students to develop career goals and objectives

    + Helping students create a customized resume and complete applications for either jobs or school admissions

    + Coaching and preparing for interviews

    + Assisting students at their job sites to ensure success and independence

    This position may interest you if:

    + You have previous experience in high-touch customer service environments

    + You are passionate about working with students (ages 14+)

    + You thrive being part of a collaborative team, yet can work independently

    Career growth opportunities – potential selection into our Management Training Program for people who have the following experience:

    + Management of a small team

    + Informal leadership in sports, clubs, or civic organizations

    Additional requirements include:

    + Valid driver’s license and comfortable traveling within your local community

    + Monday – Friday, daytime hours availability (flexibility offered for part-time)

    + Comfortable using MS Office, documenting notes in an electronic system, and accessing apps on a mobile device
