**The community you'll be caring for:** AdventHealth Hendersonville

**The role you'll contribute:** Responsible for performing routine care under the direction of the registered nurse and physician. This position provides for the comfort of the patient and communicates according to protocol. This role adapts procedures to meet the individual needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. In addition, this position works within the parameters of certification guidelines, regulatory standards, and established policies, protocols, and procedures. Additionally, this role utilizes pertinent references as guidelines for clinical practice. Responsibilities for this role include performing routine care, providing patient comfort, adapting procedures, adhering to guidelines, and utilizing clinical references.

The value you'll bring to the team:

+ Ensures the endoscopy suite is adequately prepared for procedures.

+ Monitors levels of all endoscopy instruments and supplies.

+ Follows written procedures for high-level disinfection and chemical and biological monitoring.

+ Provides supportive care to patients under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and physician.

+ Performs treatments and procedures within the defined scope of practice.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:

+ High School Grad or Equivalent Required

+ Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
