    Strategic Engagement Manager, Partnerships

     

    The target hiring range for this position is $84,000-$88,000.

    Position Summary:

    The Strategic Engagement Manager oversees the entire SEL function, including all team members, Supervisors, and the Assistant Manager. This role sets strategic direction, ensures operational excellence, and drives continuous improvement in learner, faculty, and partner engagement while aligning initiatives with organizational objectives.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    + Provides overall leadership and strategic direction for the SEL function, including SEL I–III, Senior, Supervisors, and Assistant Manager.

    + Develops and implements engagement policies, processes, and best practices to support organizational goals.

    + Oversees escalated engagement issues, ensuring timely resolution and consistent communication with stakeholders.

    + Monitors SEL function KPIs, identifies trends, and presents actionable insights to executive leadership.

    + Leads cross-functional projects to enhance engagement efficiency and learner/faculty satisfaction.

    + Ensures compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements for all engagement activities.

    + Identifies talent development opportunities and succession planning within the SEL function.

    + Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and learners to foster collaboration and program success.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    + Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

    + Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in engagement, operations, or program management.

    + Proven experience managing multi-level teams, including managers, supervisors, and individual contributors.

    + Strong strategic planning, analytical, and project management skills.

    + Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data-driven reporting tools.

    + Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.

     

    All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah. The College will pay for travel and lodging accommodations.
