    **PDS Tech Commercial** is hiring a hands-on and detail-oriented **Service & Repair Technician** to support production operations.     Role: Contract

    About the Role

    This role involves assembling small electronic components, maintaining mechanical equipment, and supporting production tasks. Ideal candidates will have a background in electronics, basic computer knowledge, and a willingness to learn and adapt.

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    + Assemble small electronic components using tools such as tweezers

    + Operate, maintain, and test mechanical equipment and machinery

    + Identify and replace parts as needed

    + Perform cleaning and upkeep of production areas

    + Follow standard procedures and work under general supervision

    Required Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + 1 to 1.5 years of experience in previous roles

    + Experience in small electronic assembly

    + Basic computer and technical knowledge

    + Comfortable working with very small parts and tools

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Recent graduate from a technical school or high school with relevant coursework

    + Familiarity with standard production practices and procedures

    + Willingness to cross-train and learn new tasks
