This is a high-impact role where your expertise will ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of critical building systems.     Compensation & Schedule

    + **Pay:** $38–$40/hr based on experience

    + **Shifts:** 4 days/10 hours per day – Wed–Sat or Sat–Wed (to be discussed in interview)1st Shift: 8:00am – 6:30pm2nd Shift: 8:00pm – 6:30amTraining will begin on **1st shift** , with possible transition to 2nd.

    What You’ll Do

    As a Union Stationary Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in keeping operations safe, efficient, and compliant. You’ll be responsible for:

     

    + **System Operations & Maintenance** : Oversee chilled water systems, boilers (water tube & fire tube), sub-freezing chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, air dryers, and chemical treatment systems.

    + **Troubleshooting & Repairs** : Perform predictive and corrective maintenance on steam traps, DDC control valves, actuators, piping systems, PLC panels, and more.

    + **Data & Reporting** : Maintain accurate logs, perform plant meter readings, track trends, and complete compressed air leak reports.

    + **Building Systems** : Monitor and operate BAS, building monitoring systems, utilities, and piping systems.

    + **Safety & Compliance** : Complete safety PMs, participate in safety processes, follow pre-task planning, and ensure a hazard-free work environment.

    + **Team & Performance** : Support compliance with the collective bargaining agreement, manage PTO requests, maintain operator licenses, and contribute to zero downtime goals.

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + High school diploma or GED

    + **8+ years of facility maintenance experience** (verifiable), including boiler and chiller systems

    + **CFC Universal certification**

    + A **Boiler Operator’s, Refrigeration Operator’s, or Stationary Engineer’s license**

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    + Ability to safely operate hand and power tools **Preferred:**

    + **Refrigeration and storm water cards**

    + Experience with vibration analysis and PLC systems

    **Pay Details:** $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
