    Precision Solder Technicians Needed – 1st Shift, J-STD Certified | $22–23/hr

     

    PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading Electronics Manufacturer in Maple Grove, MN to hire **Solder Technicians** . This is a hands-on opportunity for skilled professionals to perform Class III hand soldering and contribute to the production of high-quality electronic components.

    Shift & Pay:

    + Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    + $22–23/hr

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    As a Solder Technician, you’ll play a critical role in fabricating, cleaning, and assembling components for precision electronics. Your responsibilities include:

     

    + Performing hand soldering of Through Hole, SMT, or Flex products using a scope

    + Preparing wires and components (cutting, stripping, twisting, tinning) and fastening them to assemblies

    + Cleaning parts and subassemblies using in-line, hand, or vapor degreasing methods

    + Operating soldering equipment including solder wave, selective solder, and surface mount machines

    + Measuring and recording product data, following ESD procedures, and maintaining safety practices

    + Assisting co-workers, training new employees, and contributing to continuous process improvement

    + Maintaining a clean, organized, and FOD-free work area while meeting daily quantity and quality standards

     

    What We’re Looking For

    Required Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Microscope soldering experience or IPC-610 & J-STD certification desired

    + Ability to pass J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification to perform soldering duties

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and oral instructions, including blueprints

    + Ability to perform repetitive hand motions and work in sitting or standing positions as needed

    + Adequate visual acuity (20/20 with or without glasses) and standard color vision

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Prior experience in electronics manufacturing or ISO/AS/Nadcap-certified environment

    **Pay Details:** $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
