Lead Hardware Testing in Aerospace – Senior Advanced Hardware Engineer** **(Onsite)

**PDS Tech Commercial** is seeking a highly skilled **Senior Advanced Hardware Engineer** to support a critical aerospace manufacturing program. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on the design, development, and implementation of hardware testing strategies for avionics systems.

About the Role

As a **Senior Advanced Hardware Engineer** , you’ll be responsible for developing and executing test strategies, performing stress and performance tests, and supporting hardware validation efforts. You’ll work onsite with a collaborative team and report directly to engineering leadership. This role requires strong technical judgment, creativity, and the ability to lead and direct others.

Key Responsibilities

+ Analyze and support the design, development, and implementation of hardware for avionics products

+ Develop test strategies, devices, and systems for circuit boards, processors, and wiring

+ Perform stress and performance testing to ensure product reliability

+ Lead and direct tasks as needed, applying creativity and technical expertise

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams and report findings to management

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field

+ 4–6 years of experience in hardware testing or a related area

+ Familiarity with industry-standard concepts, practices, and procedures

+ Strong judgment and experience in planning and executing goals

+ Ability to work onsite full-time

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE)

+ Strong background in system-level testing and troubleshooting

+ Proficiency in Python, C, LabWindows CVI, and LabVIEW

+ Familiarity with RF equipment and test instruments

+ Knowledge of DO-160, DO-178, DO-254 certification processes

+ Experience with embedded operating systems

+ Ability to develop code from schematics and build rack stack ATE systems

**Pay Details:** $69.00 per hour
