**PDS Tech Commercial** is seeking a highly skilled **Strategic Sourcing Specialist – Professional Services** to lead sourcing initiatives across global categories such as Legal, Financial, and Engineering Services. This is a high-impact role for professionals who excel in contract management, supplier negotiations, and strategic procurement.

**Pay Rate:** $70/hour

**Role:** Contract

**Schedule:** Day Shift - Hybrid (minimum 3 days onsite per week based on business need)

**Location:** Charlotte, NC

About the Role

As a **Strategic Sourcing Specialist – Professional Services** , you’ll manage complex sourcing activities, including contract separation, Statement of Work (SoW) development, and supplier engagement. You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business goals and ensure compliance with company policies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead sourcing efforts for Professional Services categories, including supplier selection, RFI/RFQ processes, eAuctions, and contract negotiations

+ Manage contract separation activities and execute scope documents, amendments, and change orders

+ Develop and negotiate Statements of Work from inception to final signature

+ Collaborate with internal teams to build effective bid strategies and align sourcing with business needs

+ Drive working capital improvements through payment term extensions and cycle optimization

+ Support operational procurement tasks such as invoice reconciliation, reporting, and issue resolution

+ Ensure compliance with sourcing policies and procedures

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field

+ 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement

+ Proven experience managing RFPs/RFQs and developing Statements of Work

+ Strong understanding of sourcing processes and contract management fundamentals

+ Demonstrated success in achieving cost savings and working capital improvements

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CPSM, CIPS)

+ Strong business and financial acumen

+ Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, eSourcing platforms, RFQ tools, and project management software

**Pay Details:** $70.00 per hour
