This individual will work closely with Dr. Fred Prior (Chief, Division of Biomedical Research Informatics at ACRI) and Chair, Department of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). This role offers the opportunity to engage in innovative research in advanced database architectures and semantic integration technologies applied to multi-omics, nutrition and neuroimaging data focused on child health while working closely with research scientists, students, and the ACRI informatics team. The ideal candidate will hold a doctoral degree in a relevant field and demonstrate strong expertise in biomedical data science and database technologies. This position is both an opportunity for advanced team science research in biomedical data management as well as the design and implementation of real-world operational systems to facilitate biomedical research focused on child health.
