We're seeking an experienced CNC Programming and Machining Supervisor to lead our skilled team, shape the next generation of machinists, and drive process excellence.     What You'll Do

     

    + Program 2D and 3D CNC machines using HyperMill CAM software

    + Create and modify tooling designs using SolidWorks CAD software.

    + Execute machining operations with precision, ensuring part accuracy and meeting production deadlines.

    + Optimize machining and design processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

    + Lead and schedule the CNC production team, prioritizing execution, safety, and quality.

    + Mentor apprentices through the state-registered apprenticeship program, providing hands-on training and feedback.

    + Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to align on priorities.

    + Drive innovation by adopting new machining and CAD technologies.

    + Ensure quality control and maintain a safe, organized work environment.

     

    What You'll Bring

     

    + High school diploma and Completion of a State Registered Apprenticeship program required. Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field a plus.

    + 3-7 years of experience in CNC programming, machining, and CAD design (SolidWorks preferred)

    + 1-2 years' experience in a supervisory or lead role.

     

    What We Value

     

    + Experience in automotive tooling or thermoforming manufacturing preferred. Expertise in SolidWorks CAD software for tooling design.

    + Strong knowledge of Tool & Die design, machining processes, and material properties.

    + Exceptional leadership, execution, mentoring, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    + High emotional maturity, resilience, and adaptability to new technologies.

    + Ability to lift 10-50 pounds and perform physical tasks in a production environment.

    + Experience in HyperMill CAM software for CNC programming; experience with MasterCam.

    + MasterCam certification is highly preferred.

    + SolidWorks Professional or Associate certification (e.g., CSWP, CSWA).

    + Completion of HyperMill training courses (HyperMILL Training).

    + Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
