Job description
As a member of the Safran Seats business, you play a major role in teamwork that provides over one million seats to major airlines worldwide. 1. Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities)
Objective:
Acts as a liaison between the Safran Seats US business users, local PLM team, and central PLM teams to ensure successful deployment of PDM/PLM capabilities, normally as part of the global digital transformation projects. Manages business requirements, supports solution design, and organizes validation with functional and key users. This role works cross-functionally and with other Safran Seats business units to ensure all internal customer needs are met and drives alignment between the sites. This position works under general supervision.
2. Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
Position responsibilities and activities filling Guidelines:
• Conducts effective analyses to clarify and evaluate business requirements for developments in a manner which supports the strategic goals in the context of PLM projects.
• Documentation of requirements using various methods, such as process mapping, user stories, use cases, impact mapping, and functional/non-functional requirement specifications.
• Performs gap analyses for any new requirements or requests and articulates business impact effectively.
• Engages with stakeholders across local functions and across global business units, challenging when necessary and providing input on best practices.
• Presents requirements and analyses, including risk and impact assessments, in a precise manner to management.
• Supports project governance and delivery of assigned initiatives.
• Ensures correct support model is deployed during solution development, user acceptance testing, and post Go-Live to maintain excellent customer service and positive project outcomes.
• Develops comprehensive end-to-end test cases during required phases of PLM development projects.
• Coordinates implementation of approved process improvements through interface with PLM and IT/IS teams.
• Coordinates required trainings with the Seats US Development School.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

3. Qualification Requirements
A. Education & Qualification-
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related field or combination of 6 years work experience and education related to the degree field if no bachelor's degree.
B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge-
• Prefer 1 year of related experience in addition to meeting education requirement
C. Professional Skills-
• Ability to enact cultural change management
• Ability to solve problems and think strategically.
• Basic knowledge of CAD, PLM, business processes.
• Basic knowledge of requirements management and documentation.
• Ability to work across functional boundaries, with excellent analytical skills
• Communications: Ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment. Ability to read and review written communication. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.
