In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in preparing, setting up, and conducting complete engineering tests as required by the test plan, blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions as directed by the test engineer.     Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)

     

    A) Collects and prepares data used to support engineering reports and analysis.

     

    B) Assembles, operates, and maintains laboratory testing, measuring, and mechanical equipment

     

    C) Works as part of a team.

     

    D) Adjusts and repairs testing, electrical, and mechanical equipment and devices.

     

    E) Inspects test equipment for wear and defective parts, using standard inspection practices.

     

    F) Prepares notes, sketches, and observations associated with test setup and data collection.

     

    G) Attends training seminars related to specific types of test equipment.

     

    H) Performs other duties as assigned.

    Candidate skills & requirements

    3. Qualification Requirements

    A. Education & Qualification

    • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent work experience.

    • Training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience is preferred.

    B. Work Experience - Technical knowledge:

    • 1 year of related experience is preferred

    C. Professional Skills:

    • Must have general knowledge of electrical theory and background in use of laboratory test and measurement instruments.

    • Must be proficient in all shop math including trigonometry.

    • Must also have good working skills with Microsoft Office and data acquisition software.

    • Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment.

    • Ability to read and review written communication.

    • Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English.

    D. Behavioral Skills:

    • Must be self-motivated and able to perform at a high level of intensity without constant direction.

    • Must be able to adjust to company priorities and changes.

    E. Desirable Aspects:

    • Experience working in Aerospace testing facility

    • Knowledge of building fixtures
