Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Business Analyst I, you'll play a pivotal part on our Business team.
Analyze business issues, define requirements, design computer programs, and recommend automated system controls and protocols to solve organizational and operational issues. Determine operational objectives, gather information, and evaluate output requirements and formats. Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document systems requirements. Identify project milestones, phases, and elements, and keep team within timeline and budget. Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications. Develop organizational change management framework and conduct user acceptance testing. Maintain automated system protocols by writing and updating procedures. May create end-user documentation (e.g., user guides, process flow charts and training materials) and deliver training.
Improved business processes through use of business applications fit for purpose and harmonized across the branch. Successful implementation of applications and changes to applications. Improved communication and understanding between business departments and Safran Information Services.
•Business Analysis
•Interview business process owners and key users, analyze and document business processes and requirements and develop system proposals and functional specifications
•Translate diverse business requirements into common functional specifications
•Review requests for projects and changes and advice on approval based on, for example, feasibility, compliance with standards, business case, risk, priority.
•Support the implementation of ERP & other business systems, advice and support key users
•Prepare training material, provide training and support the creation of work instructions
•Support the preparation and execution of software testing
•Develop tools and Reports addressing business needs, assisting management and operational teams in decision making and optimizing business processes
•Support transformation projects (e.g., Transfer of work, New Product Introduction, ERP migration)

Project Management
•Act as Business Project Manager during smaller projects or changes.
•Support the Operations, Safran IS and the Business Project Manager.
•Involve internal functions and coordinate and verify work performed by external consultants.
Relationship Management
•Act as a point of contact for business questions and information for system and reporting changes.

The expected salary range for this position is between $68,640 - $88,340 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
Candidate skills & requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience & education required in Computer science, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering
Experience: Requires 3-5 years business applications experience with a solid understanding of business processes in manufacturing and/or supply chain.
Technical Skills: Strong overall ERP knowledge (Infor M3 or SAP is a plus). Proficiency with SQL for querying and manipulating datasets. Proficiency with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience with project management methodologies / Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Other Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships. Works under moderate supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
