Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Planning-Repairs Manager you'll play a pivotal part on our Production team.
The Planning Manager will lead a team of planning professionals and will be responsible for all aspects of scheduling, planning and inventory activities. Some key areas of activities include: developing a repair plan, plan work flow and schedules, monitor status and ensure customer delivery requirements and sales and operations planning (S&OP). Also, the planning manager is responsible for the accuracy of all items within the business system that have an impact on company-wide financial reporting.

• Implement, execute and maintain world class strategies for planning, scheduling, inventory and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee repair planning and management activities within the business unit.
• Develop repair plan, budget and timeliness according to CMM specifications and FAA Part 145 requirements specifications.
• Determine repair requirements based on plant capacity and repair specifications.
• Communication of needs and objectives to the planning team along with training, developing, mentoring and assisting team members is essential.
• Plan work flow and schedules for repair departments.
• Monitor repair status and ensure timely delivery.
• Implement rotable inventory strategies, monitor, and make adjustments based on repair volume and sub-contract cycle times
• Identify delays and accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Establishes and maintains premier customer service.
• Assist in repair risk assessment and mitigation activities.

Candidate skills & requirements
Experience:
• At least 2-5 years' experience leading teams
• 5 years of experience in progressive planning, scheduling and inventory management experience in aerospace, automotive or mechanical manufacturing environment with the ability to lead and influence others.
Computer Skills:
• Experience working with MRP/ERP systems
• Basic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
