    Position Overview

    International has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Operations Analyst - Project Manager to join our dynamic team! This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that collaborates across multiple business units and with key external suppliers to support our truck and bus production and delivery goals.

     

    You’ll work closely with teams across Sales, Finance, Engineering, Purchasing, Production Planning, and our Customer Responsiveness Center (CRC) to ensure the timely and efficient build and delivery of vehicles. This position demands strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage complex supply chain projects where standard solutions may not exist.     Responsibilities

    + Provide strategic forecast guidance on truck and bus order demand to support On-Time Delivery (OTD), Purchasing, and Program teams—especially for key commodities such as axles, engines, and battery electric vehicles (BEVs).

    + Lead data quality assurance initiatives in the production planning process to ensure supplier forecast accuracy.

    + Collaborate with EDI Systems teams to document and understand data flows supporting supply forecasts.

    + Serve as a liaison for top 12 focus suppliers—supporting issue resolution and production schedule inquiries.

    + Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and implementing best practices across operations.

    + Enhance analytics capabilities through improved use of tools like PowerBI dashboards.

    + Participate in cross-functional meetings addressing known supply risks—provide future demand insights, report risk impacts, and track mitigation projects.

    + Partner with Engineering and Purchasing to develop replacement strategies and risk mitigation plans in response to supply chain disruptions.

    + Support on-time delivery targets for priority customer accounts through production planning enhancements and proactive supply risk management.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree

    + At least 5 years of project/program management experience

    OR

    + Master’s degree

    + At least 3 years of project/program management experience

    OR

    + At least 7 years of project/program management experience

    Additional Requirements

    + Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.     + Strong ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

    + Self-starter who works well independently and takes initiative

    + Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience working with complex spreadsheets

    + Experience with PowerBI or other data visualization tools

    + Effective communicator with strong leadership and influence capabilities

    + Knowledge of commercial vehicle systems or experience in the transportation/manufacturing industry is a plus

    + Comfortable navigating ambiguity and solving complex, cross-functional problems
