Job Description
Goal: Provide leadership to develop technology capabilities that empower business self-optimization by leveraging a repeatable framework & approach, transforming data into insights & action and accelerating productivity through automation & orchestration. This role will have impact and influence over multiple technology platforms and across multiple business functions (enterprise-wide impact).
Objectives: Build a collaborative partnership with technology and functional domain senior leadership. Develop and guide delivery of comprehensive technology solutions that address prioritized business problems and innovation needs.
Responsibilities:
+ Strategic Planning and Leadership
+ Define and cascade the Process Intelligence (PI) vision, roadmap, and service portfolio.
+ Provide strategic direction for Process Optimization & Re-engineering (Six Sigma and Process Mining) and Intelligent Automation (UiPath, Power Apps/Auto, etc.) initiatives to align with enterprise goals.
+ Liaise with senior business leaders (VP/D level) to identify and prioritize high-impact transformation opportunities.
+ Build and manage long-term transformation roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders.
+ Guide the integration of Intelligent Automation with emerging technologies (e.g., AI, ML, process mining) into strategic initiatives.
+ Service Portfolio Leadership
+ Continuously enhance and adapt the PO&R and IA service portfolios based on market innovation and internal demand.
+ Establish and oversee a unified Process Intelligence (PI) Solution Architecture to guide technology selection and integration.
+ Align performance KPIs with overall Process Intelligence (PI) metrics and reporting strategies.
+ Ensure consistent utilization and adherence to playbooks, methodologies, and standards.
+ Make decisions that have an effect on financial, employee and/or public relations posture of AbbVie.
+ Relationship Management
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, process owners, and functional leads.
+ Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and external partners.
+ Manage vendor relationships and challenge them to deliver continuous value.
+ Collaborate with consulting partners to support transformation initiatives.
+ Foster trust and credibility across internal and external stakeholder groups.
+ Interacts well with diverse groups across business and technology functions and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.
+ Team Management
+ Audit governance processes to ensure delivery quality and compliance with standards.
+ Lead standardization and optimization of operating practices across PI and IA functions.
+ Oversee adherence to security, compliance, and work management processes (e.g., Agile, Jira, SNOW).
+ Monitor and audit performance metrics to ensure alignment with program goals.
+ Culture
+ Consistently demonstrate AbbVie’s Ways of Working and Leadership Attributes including an enterprise mindset and people leadership.
+ Effectively manages performance, provides timely feedback, appropriately rewards and recognizes valuable achievement, develops talent, and creates a succession pipeline.
+ Understand and execute AbbVie's vision, goals and strategies. This role has accountability for the performance and results strategically important functions.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and 10+ years of experience. Masters degree and work experience in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
+ Extensive Experience: Delivering process optimization, re-engineering, digital transformation, and operating model design.
+ Leadership in Advisory Roles: Proven leadership in consulting, Process Intelligence technology (combination of process mining (e.g., Celonis, Signovio, etc.), automation (e.g., UiPath, Microsoft Power Platform) and orchestration), or other strategic advisory positions.
+ Enterprise-Wide Mindset: Ability to think and operate across functions and business units with a holistic view.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives and external partners.
+ Strategic Communication: Expert in communication, facilitation, negotiation, and influencing across multiple audiences and at all levels of the organization, including C-Suite.
+ Executive Presence: Demonstrates strong personal and professional presence in high-level engagements.
+ Financial Acumen: Skilled in budget planning, securing, and managing resources effectively.
+ Governance & Compliance: Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Jira, SNOW, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
+ Team Development: Proven ability to drive outstanding employee performance and engagement through developing, coaching, motivating, energizing and inspiring team members. Experience managing teams of at least 20+ people with a resource mix of managers, employees, matrixed teams, virtual teams, contractors and managed service providers.

+ The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

Salary: $156,000 - $296,500
