Position Summary

Resolve basic client support requests for software, hardware, network, and all other IT services

Essential Functions

+ Install and maintain a wide range of software products including operating systems, office productivity suites, antivirus, browsers, etc.

+ Deploy and maintain desktops, laptops, PC components, phones, printers, monitors, projectors, mobile storage, and other devices

+ Prepare documentation regarding IT work, including details regarding required equipment and software tools

+ Pursue training and development opportunities to continuously build knowledge and skills

Additional Duties

+ Will interface as needed with 3rd party help desks for troubleshooting assistance

+ As assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

+ Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems and a working knowledge of client server architectures, database systems and applications

+ Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

+ Strong communication skills; able to explain technical information to non-technical audience

+ Good problem solving abilities; able to troubleshoot problems independently and offer timely resolutions

+ Detail oriented

Minimum Qualifications

+ Associates Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or similar major preferred

+ Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

+ Must be authorized to work in the US currently and in the future without employer sponsorship.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

+ Work is generally performed in an office environment

+ May be required to sit for extended periods of time

+ Will be required to work with and visit other employees frequently

+ The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
