    You will be an Analytics / AI Research Engineer in our Software Engineering organization\.

    What You Will Be Doing

    As an Analytics / AI Research Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative AI and machine learning \(ML\) solutions\.

    • Support the design, implementation, and refinement of data science systems supporting engineering and production workflows\.

    • Leverage advanced analytics, web development, data engineering, and machine learning to drive data\-driven decision\-making across MFC engineering and production\.

    • Apply advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data from engineering development and production sources\.

    • Develop, implement, and advocate for AI\-powered solutions\.

    Key responsibilities will include:

    • Data storytelling: using data visualization and communication techniques to translate complex data insights and recommendations to non\-technical stakeholders and leadership\.

    • Designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML algorithms and models to solve complex problems in various domains\.

    MUST BE A U\.S\. CITIZEN \- This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Master's or Ph\.D\. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

    • 3\+ years of experience in AI/ML research and development, with a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing

    • Experience with python

    • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit\-learn

    • Ability to obtain an interim secret security clearance prior to start and therefore must be US Citizen

    Desired Skills:

    • Strong publication record in top\-tier AI/ML conferences and journals

    • Experience with AI/ML ethics, fairness, and transparency

    • Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques\.

    • Experience in deployment of AI and statistical algorithm systems on high performance compute infrastructure\.

    • Proficiency with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes\.

    **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
