Senior Information Technology Services Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Services Specialist to join our team in securely managing and optimizing information systems throughout their lifecycle. This role is essential to ensuring our systems are designed to meet user needs while maintaining the highest standards of security and operational efficiency.

Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM Monday

Department: EPIC Patient Access

We are seeking a skilled IT Services Specialist to join our team in securely managing and optimizing information systems throughout their lifecycle. This role is essential to ensuring our systems are designed to meet user needs while maintaining the highest standards of security and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lifecycle Management: Maintain awareness of assigned information systems, including scope, functionality, and associated sensitive data.

+ Security & Compliance: Enforce principles of least privilege and least functionality. Recognize and respond to potential information security incidents.

+ System Design & Analysis:

+ Collaborate with users to gather and analyze requirements.

+ Design systems that align with organizational architecture and user needs.

+ Conduct feasibility studies and develop models, flowcharts, and procedures.

+ Documentation & Implementation:

+ Write detailed system and configuration specifications.

+ Prepare and maintain technical documentation to support system users and ongoing operations.

Ideal Candidate

+ Experience in system analysis, design, and implementation.

+ Strong understanding of information security principles and incident response.

+ Ability to translate user needs into effective system solutions.

+ Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Qualifications

+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

+ Experience: Minimum of two years experience, required.

+ Licensure/Certification:

+ Obtain application systems certification, required.

+ Pass all certification with passing grade within three tries for each test or project, required.

+ EPIC Cadence certification strongly preferred.

+ Additional Skills (required): Knowledgeable of workflows and business function. Ability to drive/travel to multiple locations/facilities as needed.
