Forklift Operator (Box Clamp) – Night Shift

**Location:** Port Wentworth, GA

**Pay:** $22.00 per hour

**Schedule:** Monday – Friday, 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll safely operate stand-up forklifts equipped with box clamp attachments to move, stack, and relocate merchandise. You will play a key role in warehouse productivity and inventory accuracy while working in a supportive, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

+ Unload inbound shipments and transport products to storage locations

+ Pull, stage, and prepare products for shipment to meet customer service standards

+ Accurately count products and oversee proper loading of shipments

+ Perform efficient picking duties using RF scanners

+ Maintain accurate records to support inventory control and security

+ Report inventory discrepancies and safety concerns promptly

+ Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and general warehouse tasks

+ Perform daily equipment inspections and use safety procedures

Qualifications

+ High School Diploma/GED preferred

+ 6+ months recent experience operating stand-up forklift with box clamp attachment

+ Able to stand and walk 10–12 hours per shift

+ Capable of lifting/pulling up to 50 lbs

+ Comfortable with bending, reaching, and stretching throughout your shift

+ Able to work in variable warehouse conditions

+ Flexibility for overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

+ Must be able to obtain NFI forklift certification

+ Detail-oriented with basic math and customer service skills

+ General computer knowledge (Excel is a plus)
