Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a talented Salesforce Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is an experienced Quality Engineer and team player that is passionate about technology and committed to lifelong learning, possessing the ability to apply their technical knowledge, skills, and experience to solve complex/real-world problems.
The Quality Engineer role will be responsible for ensuring that code/configuration releases are delivered on time and with a high level of quality. The candidate must be knowledgeable and experienced as a Quality Assurance Engineer and will be responsible for establishing Salesforce testing best practices. Must be knowledgeable and experienced in software engineering practices, quality assurance standards, interpretation of product requirements, test plan development, test case development, and testing of software functionality, and usability. Candidates will require excellent critical thinking skills, along with the ability to use their testing experience to make sound, common sense judgment calls during the testing process.
Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Principle responsibilities include:
+ Manual testing of Salesforce software functionality and regression testing.
+ Test plan and test case development.
+ Bug management and error tracking.
+ Test report documentation.
+ Coordination and prioritization of testing activities.
+ Candidate must have the ability to independently troubleshoot software issues.
Education and Experience:
+ A minimum of 5+ of structured software quality assurance engineering experience is required.
+ A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with creation of test plans, development and execution of test cases and reporting and dissemination of test results is a must.
+ A Bachelor’s Degree--preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, similar discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Note: Experience denotes “successfully demonstrated experience”.
+ Experience with Salesforce quality assurance practices and testing methodologies.
+ Experience with test plan and test case development and execution.
+ Experience deploying in CI/CD and using Build Pipelines.
+ Demonstrated documentation and reporting experience.
+ Experience working within an Agile Development Environment.
+ Experience with Jira and Confluence.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication skills.
+ Basic understanding of program interfaces, services, databases, messaging, files systems, and other program objects.

Office Location:
+ Candidate will provide their own office workspace location and high-speed internet connection.
