Job Description:

We are seeking a versatile and motivated **Software Developer/Engineer** to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a subset of the following skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in other areas. This role involves collaborating with team members to develop new features, improve standard features, and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring comprehensive testing, and providing the necessary support and documentation.

This is a hybrid position and will require up to 3 days a week on a Government site.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications

+ Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions

+ Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

+ Troubleshoot and resolve software issues

+ Contribute to continuous improvement of development and deployment processes

+ Create and manage tickets in Jira

+ Document processes and projects in Confluence

Requirements:

+ US Citizen

+ Active Secret Clearance required

+ BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field

+ 5+ years of related professional experience

+ Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization

+ Familiarity with unit testing and automated testing frameworks

+ Experience with Agile development methodologies

+ Familiarity and experience with CI/CD pipelines

+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Desired Skills and Experience:

+ Proficiency in front-end development with React, NextJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript

+ Experience with PostgreSQL

+ Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

+ Proficiency in ticket creation and management using Jira

+ Ability to create and maintain documentation in Confluence

+ Willingness to learn or have existing proficiency in Java, including JPA, Spring, and Hibernate

+ Familiarity with Git, ORMs, RESTful APIs, JDBC, Junit

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
