Title:** **Lab Medical Assistant IV

+ **Facility:** St. Anthony's Hospital

+ **Location:** St. Petersburg, FL

+ **Status:** Fulltime

+ **Shift Hours:** 730am-400pm

+ **Weekend Work:** None

+ **On Call:** No

Responsibilities:

The Lab Medical Assistant IV is responsible for:

+ Assists the technical staff within the technical departments

+ Handles any and all manual pretesting procedures including waived testing as required

+ Works in a team environment

+ Demonstrate organizational, time management, analytical, delegation, written, and verbal skills

+ Use computer skills appropriate to position

+ Must have customer service and interpersonal skills

+ Knowledge of regulatory standards appropriate to position

+ Identifies problems and implements and/or recommends solutions

+ Performs other duties as assigned

Certification & Licensure:

+ Required – Driver's License (if applicable)

+ Required – ASCP / SCYM (if applicable)

+ Required – AMT Medical Technologists (if applicable)

+ Required – ASPT Phlebotomy Technicians (if applicable)

Education:

+ Required – High School or Equivalent

+ Preferred – Technical Science

+ Preferred – Associate's

Experience:

+ Required – 1 year in related field

+ Preferred – 2 years in related field
