Job Description:
Summer:
The Summer College Internship Program is a 10-week, paid internship experience that provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to attend development workshops, network, and be part of our company. Our college interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored under their respective managers, and continue to develop throughout the entire summer. In addition, through the internship program, our interns can attend development workshops that are focused on key business concept. Interns may work within the skills-based tracks of Business Administration, Information Technology, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other non-technical and/or technical based degree programs.
+ This is a paid 10-week summer internship from the first Monday in June to the second Friday in August (up to 40 hours per week).
+ May reside in either a technical or non-technical area.
+ Development events are provided to help with the transition from school to the corporate environment.
+ Housing is not provided as part of our program.
Spring/Fall Co-op (Semester):
The Spring/Fall College Internship Program is a paid co-op/internship experience that provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to attend development workshops, network, and be part of our company. Our college interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored under their respective managers, and continue to develop throughout the entire summer. In addition, through the internship program, our interns can attend development workshops that are focused on key business concept. Interns may work within the skills-based tracks of Information Technology, Business Administration, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other non-technical and/or technical based degree programs.
+ This is a paid internship/co-op.
+ May reside in either a technical or non-technical area.
+ Housing is not provided as part of our internships/co-ops.
Essential Accountabilities:
+ Specific duties will vary with assignment; specific divisional callouts are listed below.
+ We’re looking for a motivated intern with strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to support change management, ERP strategy (particularly Workday), and product documentation initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working across teams to help drive process improvements and system enhancements.
+ Support Change Impact Assessments and documentation management: Assist in identifying and documenting how system or process changes affect various departments and user groups.
Exposure to agile framework: Assist product owner with prioritization, backlog refinement, and be a liaison with the development team.
+ Develop Communication & Training Materials: Create presentations, newsletters, and guides to support change initiatives and Workday adoption.
+ Assist in Business Process Mapping: Collaborate with stakeholders to document current and future workflows related to Workday and other ERP systems.
+ Analyze ERP Usage & Performance Data: Support data collection and analysis to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
+ Participate in ERP Enhancement Projects: Attend project meetings, document action items, and assist in testing or rollout activities.
+ Support the maintenance of Product Family Documentation: Update roadmaps, features, etc. to reflect current capabilities and future plans.
+ Conduct Benchmarking/ Research: Perform internal or external research to compare processes, tools, and/ or strategies.
+ Engage with Stakeholders: Help schedule and facilitate meetings with business owners, users, and developers to gather insights and feedback.
+ Contribute to Cross Functional Initiatives: Work with teams across IT, operations, finance, and HR to support strategic projects and gain broad exposure.
+ Works with a mentor and supports key strategic projects.
+ Responsible for work assignments and possible responsibilities that vary according to business need and departmental opportunities, in addition to student's qualifications.
+ Functions performed are non-technical and/or technical in nature and will cover a broad range of business-related projects.
+ Creates and delivers presentation at completion of internship.

+ Performs other functions as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Desired majors include: Business & Technology Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Operations Management, Human Resources Management, Leadership Studies, Communications, Computer Science or similar degree program.
+ The following skills are preferred but not required: Process mapping and/ or desk level procedure workflow documentation, Written and visual communication (e.g., presentations, process documentation, etc.), Project coordination and meeting support, Documentation management, Research and benchmarking techniques, Stakeholder engagement and collaboration, Change management awareness, Cross functional teamwork and adaptability
+ High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment (enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program).
+ Must be in good academic standing.
+ Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audiences and interface with staff at all levels of the company.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment and deliver high quality work product.
+ Ability to work well in a team establishing good working relationships with peers.
+ Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail.
+ Experience using a desktop computer in a professional environment.
+ Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Demonstrates strong organizational and prioritization skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proactive approach to work, displaying creativity and flexibility in completing assigned tasks.
+ Commitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning.
+ Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as on intra- and inter- departmental teams where needed.
Physical Requirements:
+ Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.
+ Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or trainings as needed.

Compensation Range(s):
Level I - Minimum $18.00 - Maximum $20.00
Levell II - Minimum $21.00 - Maximum $23.00
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s minimum qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
