As the Home Mortgage Consumer Direct Sales Manager, you will be responsible for providing inspirational leadership to a sales team which is focused on generating sales of Citizens’ home lending products including mortgage and home equity loans through leads and applications. These will be obtained through, but not limited to, the retail branch network, internal phone and web referrals, and other internal direct to customer campaigns. Your responsibilities in this role will also include coaching and performance management of the sales team.

Primary responsibilities include:
+ Coaching and performance management of sales team.
+ Ensure follow up and follow through with both Internal and External customers is occurring with a sense of urgency by sales team
+ Collaborate with Operations colleagues to ensure loan applications are progressing and meeting customer expectations
+ Be the advocate and drive customer experience and quality/compliance discipline in every action performed by the sales team
+ Lead sales team to improve sales funnel pull-through and lead conversion rates to drive productivity, reduce app-to-fund cycle time while improving customer experience
Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of experience in mortgage lending or consumer direct sales, with a strong track record
+ 2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within a sales environment
+ Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate a sales team to achieve and exceed goals
+ Strong understanding of home lending products including mortgage and home equity loans
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
+ Proficiency in CRM systems and sales performance tools
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience working in a bank or financial institution with a consumer direct sales model
+ Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to mortgage lending
+ Demonstrated success in implementing sales strategies and process improvements
+ Bilingual capabilities (Spanish or other languages) are a plus
Hours & Work Schedule
+ Hours per Week: 40
+ Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
