How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The International Benefits Program Manager is part of the
Global Benefits team reporting to the International Health Plans Manager and oversees
the operations of the global health and welfare plans for participating
international Delta employees. This role supports employees working outside of
the United States and US Territories, including employees on international
assignment and those hired locally across 56 countries and foreign territories
where Delta flies. Handling confidential and sensitive information in a manner
consistent with Delta’s privacy and information security policies and standards
is required.
This position is based out of the Corporate headquarters in
Atlanta, GA.
Your responsibilities in this role:
+ _GlobalBenefits Management:_ Partner with vendors and brokers to administerand optimize global health and welfare benefits along with otherin-country health and wellness programs. Collaborate with Legal to assesscompliance risks based on local regulations and company policies, makingrecommendations as needed to support new and changing legislation orcompany policies. Provide guidance to employees, Leaders, HR BusinessPartners and other stakeholders regarding eligibility, plan provisions,regulatory compliance and other matters related to benefit plans andprograms.
+ _EmployeeCommunications & Change Management:_ Develop communications plansand content for “Leader Heads-Up” and broader employee deployment. Createand maintain employee resource materials in conjunction with insurer andbroker partners.
+ _AnnualRenewals & Open Enrollment:_ Drive the planning and execution ofopen enrollment alongside our Benefits Administration providers and manageglobal renewal cycles for all international health and welfare plansalongside our Global Brokerage coordinators.
+ _Vendor& Budget Management:_ Partner with Procurement to manage vendorrelationships, ensuring high-quality service and accountability forexpected service levels. Oversee the invoicing process and, in partnershipwith Finance, monitor expenses against expected budget with adjustedforecasting as necessary.
+ _Cross-FunctionalCollaboration:_ Work closely with HR Business Partners, HR ServiceDelivery, Mobility, Legal, Procurement, Finance and Payroll teams tooperationalize benefit offerings and set up vendor contracts, invoicingand funding. Partner with thebroader Global Benefits team with responsibilities and projects, asassigned.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ 5+years of experience in employee benefits plan management, administrationand communication of health and welfare policies with a minimum 2 yearsmanaging global (non-US) benefit programs.
+ Self-motivated,organized, detailed oriented and objective.
+ Ableto work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, handlemultiple projects simultaneously, and leverage resources across divisionsat Delta.
+ Knownfor strong execution, problem-solving and follow-through, with the abilityto independently deliver across cross-functional stakeholders.
+ Excellentcommunicator, capable of translating complex benefit topics into clear,actionable messages for employees and internal partners.
+ Proficienttechnical skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite(including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
+ Possessesthe following skills:

+ (Iftransferring internally) Must be performing satisfactory in currentposition.
+ Is atleast 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
+ Has apassport and is able to travel to countries outside of the United Statesor is willing to get one within 3 months of accepting the position.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or highschool equivalency.

+ Experiencewith global employee benefits insurances with demonstrated ownership ofbenefits program delivery in multinational environments would be highlybeneficial.
+ Strongskills in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, PowerPoint, Work and Outlook

+ Abilityto leverage cross functional relationships to drive results
