What we want
The Academic Success Center is seeking an Administrative Associate III who will serve as the primary point of contact and receptionist for students, faculty, staff, and visitors, ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, and capable of managing multiple administrative tasks, including front desk operations, student worker coordination, and office supply oversight. This position requires a professional, approachable demeanor, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful applicant will assist with student programs such as StudyHub and the Pocket Pantry, coordinate outreach initiatives, and ensure efficient office operations. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, initiative, and flexibility will be critical to success.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
+ High school graduation or any equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Three years of experience in general office or clerical work
Preferred Qualifications
+ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
+ Proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing, and other office software programs
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
+ Knowledge of higher education student programs
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ More than five years of experience in general office or clerical work
+ Some higher education experience

+ Ability to be punctual and adhere to scheduled shifts
+ Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, work independently or as part of a team, take initiative in completing tasks, and provide professional, welcoming and approachable service to all students, faculty, staff, and visitors
Responsibilities
Administrative Support
+ Serves as the first point of contact for ASC walk-ins, phone calls, and general inquiries, providing professional and welcoming service
+ Checks students in for appointments and assists with front desk operations under the guidance of the Administrative Coordinator, including opening and closing the office
+ Processes mail and deliveries, assists with conference room reservations, and submits facility work orders
+ Monitors supply levels for the breakroom, workroom, and front desk, notifying the Administrative Coordinator when supplies need to be ordered
+ Oversees Xerox machine upkeep, including paper, ink, and communication with sales representatives
Office Support / Programs
+ Supports StudyHub and coordinates outreach efforts, including receiving requests, communicating with the Outreach Assistant Director, identifying available staff for presentations and tabling events, and following up with requesters
+ Assists with Pocket Pantry operations, including inventory monitoring, coordinating food pick-ups, and supporting student access
Information / Service
+ Assists in managing front desk student workers, including training, support, and scheduling
+ Provides backup support to the Administrative Coordinator as needed
