Job Description
Position Summary
The Program Aide provides administrative and program support for the USDA/NIFA funded grants, ensuring accurate data collection, reporting, and coordination of project activities. This position works closely with Bexar and Harris County agents/staff, Sponsored Research Services (SRS), and the external evaluator to fulfill grant requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Gathers, compiles, and inputs data into the annual REEport system.
+ Participates in monthly project planning and reflection meetings.
+ Collects and organizes evaluation and feedback data.
+ Maintains accurate contact lists for partners and stakeholders.
+ Schedules meetings with Bexar and Harris County agents/staff.
+ Orders supplies and materials in alignment with grant guidelines.
+ Prepares and submits expense reports.
+ Serves as liaison with SRS and the external evaluator.
+ Completes internal and external administrative documents/forms for grant personnel.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
+ Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Preferred:
+ Experience with program reporting systems (such as REEport).
+ Prior administrative or grant-related experience.
Work Schedule & Compensation
+ Up to 20 hours per week
+ $20 per hour
This is a grant-funded position; continued employment is contingent upon available funding and satisfactory performance.
