Sr. Purchasing Digital Tools Analyst

The Sr. Digital Purchasing Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape and execute the digital purchasing roadmap, with primary responsibility for leading the adoption, support, and continuous enhancement of purchasing digital tools across North America. In addition to serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for both corporate and locally developed solutions, the analyst will contribute to the development of automation and generative AI capabilities that drive procurement efficiency and actionable insights. This role requires close coordination with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment, share best practices, and incorporate user feedback into ongoing digital transformation efforts.
The Sr. Digital Purchasing Analyst will also work cross functionally with key stakeholders across SGNA/CertainTeed businesses and works closely with the local (North American) and central (Paris) Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) teams.- This position will act as the local champion for our corporate social responsibility initiatives with our vendor base as well as the key contact for coordination with external organizations for CSR and sustainability benchmarking and compliance.
**Digital Tools Support:** -
+ SME (subject matter expert) for Saint-Gobain North America Purchasing team for all Digital initiatives in coordination with purchasing groups in Paris and Malvern headquarters including tools managed by the central (Paris) team as well as locally developed tools by the purchasing or local IT teams.---
+ Leads adoption and training as required of the tools including site visits, training forums and webinars-
+ Drive compliance to digital tools usage across the North American Purchasing team-
Corporate Social Responsibility
+ Manage the Responsible Purchasing objectives (eLearning, charter, documentation reviews & external audits, corrective actions, delisted suppliers, timber certificates…)
+ Through a monthly follow-up to track progress,
+ By **defining priorities** (e.g. TOP 10 per BU) and by **suggesting action** plans.
+ Regularly communicate procedures & processes to the purchasers’ network ensuring clarity.
+ **Train locally newcomers** on the Responsible Purchasing tools (AFNOR / EcoVadis / dashboards) and the CSR functionalities of the different purchasing digital solutions (Supplier Portal / ProSource / ProRating / ProCube).
+ **Assist purchasers** in overcoming challenges related to CSR integration with their suppliers.
+ Attend Group’s Responsible Purchasing talks and committees and broadcast the main points applicable to the local purchasing network.
+ Set up & **manage a periodic local committee to raise awareness and address compliance’s challenges** (suppliers having bad CSR scorings in delisted status, suppliers refusing the charter signature or the CSR evaluation).
**Purchasing Analysis and Operational Support:** -
+ Central coordination of pricing and contract management updates in the ERP systems for strategic or category specific suppliers-
+ PO management and coordination centrally or across sites for central or shared suppliers-
+ Support for key functions in the purchasing process including the vendor setup, maintenance and payment process.-
+ Continuous communication with key stakeholders including purchasing, finance, P2P team, etc. to ensure appropriate level of internal support.-
**Process Improvement & Generative AI Development** -
+ Procurement Process Optimization: Streamline and improve procurement workflows for digital tools, implementing best practices for sourcing, onboarding, and vendor management. Utilize procurement software and automation to increase efficiency and transparency.-
+ Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement strategies to optimize the organization’s digital toolset, drive adoption, and ensure maximum value from technology investments.-
+ Collaborate with IT and data teams to prototype and deploy AI-driven models and scripts that streamline procurement processes.-
+ Business or supply chain-related field industrial engineering or operations research required; Master's degree preferred.
+ Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in supply chain, purchasing, finance, and/or IT
+ Programming experience in Python, SQL, or other required.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
+ Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently and proactively engage across functional constituents
+ Experience with SAP or similar systems with MRP functionality required
+ High Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
+ Very high attention to detail, accuracy of work and excellent communication skills
+ Experience in use of AI
+ Tableau / PowerBI
+ Experience with working in a matrix organization
