Join Our Team as a Production Supervisor in Little Rock, AR!
Are you a motivated leader with a passion for driving production excellence? We are looking for a dedicated Production Supervisor to join our team in Little Rock, AR, for the 2nd shift (3 PM - 11 PM, Monday - Friday, subject to change). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our production activities run smoothly and efficiently while fostering a positive and safe work environment for your team.
What’s the Job?
As the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all production activities, managing and directing the efforts of production line personnel to safely produce high-quality products. You will act as a coach and mentor, developing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of your direct reports while prioritizing their well-being. Your leadership will ensure that daily human resource issues, such as payroll, recognition, and accountability, are handled timely and consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
+ **Lead Production Activities:** -Supervise and direct all production activities for assigned lines, ensuring products meet or exceed established process specifications and quality requirements.
+ **Collaborate with Management:** -Work closely with the Production Superintendent to establish work schedules, assignments, and production requirements for operations within or between departments.
+ **Monitor Performance:** -Observe work processes and monitor production standards, assisting in troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.
+ **Ensure Compliance:** -Maintain compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements, policies, and procedures, promoting a safe and accident-free work environment.
+ **Communicate Effectively:** -Maintain open communication with Operations Management to ensure production requirements are understood and met.
+ **Develop Your Team:** -Advise and counsel production team members effectively, utilizing progressive discipline and taking corrective actions when warranted.
+ **Support Maintenance and Engineering:** -Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to support production activities and ensure operational efficiency.
+ **Experience:** -A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role is required.
+ **Education:** -A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
+ **Production Knowledge:** -Understanding of production operations, practices, and procedures, along with strong human relations skills to develop and motivate your team.
+ **Core Competencies:** -Demonstrated engagement in safe work behaviors, effective communication, listening, and organizational skills.
+ **Technical Skills:** -Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite is required; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
+ **Lean Manufacturing Knowledge:** -Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, such as Six Sigma, is a plus.
