The Operations Manager (OM) works collaboratively with the System Chief of Emergency Medicine to plan, direct, and coordinate the provider practice and daily operations of the Emergency Medicine service line across Merrimack Health, including Lawrence Hospital, Methuen Hospital, and Haverhill Hospital. The OM improves performance, productivity, efficiency, and financial stewardship through effective methods, systems, and strategies. Primary responsibilities include provider operations (scheduling, payroll, onboarding), quality reporting, budget and accounts payable, medical staff coordination, project management, and data analysis. The role covers both Emergency Medicine Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

+ Required:

+ Bachelor’s degree; supervisory/people-leadership experience.

+ Knowledge of healthcare quality improvement and project management.

+ Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills; attention to detail.

+ Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.

+ Proficiency with Word, Outlook (mail merge), PowerPoint, payroll software, and Timekeeping.

+ Preferred:

+ Knowledge of Lean methodology preferred.

+ Revenue Cycle experience
