Work Arrangement:

**Onsite:** This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Charlotte Technical Centre on a full-time basis.

Each successful candidate will be offered an onsite role at a specific location. Candidate location preferences are considered but cannot be guaranteed.

The Team:

We are seeking a Junior Data Processing Engineer to join the Aero Innovation team within the Motorsports Aerodynamic Department. Your primary task is to support the development and operation of data-processing and analysis tools that enable and improve the productivity and capability of our motorsport aerodynamics activities. As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you'll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and optimizing state-of-the-art solutions to overcome a range of challenging technical obstacles.

What You’ll Do:

+ Develop tools and processes for generating, analyzing and managing aerodynamics data

+ Work with stakeholders to define requirements and spec out aero-data solutions

+ Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code – learning and implementing best practices in software engineering.

Required Qualifications:

+ Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following areas:

+ Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or a related field

+ Must be graduating between December 2026-June 2027

+ Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week during the summer months

What will give you a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

+ Proficient in mathematics and numerical/data analysis

+ Proficient in multiple programming languages such as Python, C++. Java.

+ Knowledge of the fundamentals of relational and non-relational databases.

+ Participation in Formula Student

+ Exposure to data acquisition hardware and software

Start dates for this internship role are May 18 & June 15 of 2026.
