    If you are a **Team Lead** professional and looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based out of our **Lebanon, MO** location, you will supervise and coordinate activities of production, while driving to achieve a positive safety culture. Work with all departments to achieve goals.

    As A Team Leader You Will:

    + Drive safety initiatives to improve safety culture and performance, steer safety performance accountability across all areas of responsibility

    + Consult with Center of Excellence (COE) organizations; attendance and performance tracking, investigations, terminations, employee inquiries, and driving team member support

    + Lead Lean Daily Management in responsible areas to include key metric tracking, action item generation and completion, presenting daily to direct reports and various staff stakeholders

    + Oversee daily production scheduling and operation of assembly team:

    + Direct machine setup and compliance checks of assembly process

    + Plan and assign manning requirements for daily production schedule

    + Make staffing or procedure adjustments according to supplied manufacturing schedule

    + Lead problem-solving initiatives to address production and quality concerns

    + Consult with stakeholders on build priority and other activities requiring coordination

    + Conduct applicant interviews and hiring recommendations

    + Responsible for employee survey scoring and generating action items to improve overall employee engagement

    + Estimate requisitions and inspects materials used in product production

    + Deliver production within quality standards and customer expectations

    + Operate within a Continuous Improvement mindset, suggesting improvement and efficiencies to the operation and to the work environment

    + Support team members with workplace policy and practices questions; makes recommendations on workplace behavior accountability

    + Complete recordkeeping requirements in a timely manner

    + Drive employee engagement in all activities including promoting our safety culture

    + Partner with others to ensure training of new associates is successful

    + Work and carrie themselves in a manner consistent with Copeland values: Excellence, Innovation, Partnership, Respect, Responsibility

    REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

    + GED or high school diploma

    + Two (2) years of experience in manufacturing

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

    + Proficient in Decision Quality Competency within a multi-tasking environment

    + Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

    + Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school

    + 5 plus years of manufacturing leadership experience

    + Experience with timekeeping and attendance tracking systems (Kronos)

    + Experience with HRIS systems (Workday)

    + Experience with COE (Center of Excellence)

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee would be required to: ability to stand on manufacturing floor for 10 hours per day; sit at desk and working on computer; navigate manufacturing areas to access components; have visual acuity to properly inspect and discern prints and components; have manual dexterity to handle components; lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
