    Join Linetec'sFleet Operations team as aTelematics Operations Specialistto lead the managing and optimization of our telematics program (Samsara). In this role, you will ensure accurate fleet data, support safety and compliance and collaborate across departments to keep operations running seamlessly.

     

    *This position isopen to remote work.

     

    What You'll Do

     

    + Serve as the primary contact for all aspects of our telematics platform (Samsara)

    + Manage user accounts, device activations, and hardware inventory

    Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with telematics support

    + Review and verify billing, invoices, and generate operational/compliance reports

    + Support IFTA (International Fuel Tax Agreement) reporting through system tools and asset tagging

    + Review dash camera events, assign coaches, and support safety investigations

    + Provide documentation to Safety, Legal, and other teams as needed

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve fleet performance

    + Other tasks requested by leadership

     

    What You'll Have

     

    + 1+ years of experience administrating a telematics program (Samsara, Geotab, Verizon Connect, etc.)

    + Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools

    Work Environment

     

    + Work is performed in a typical indoor office environment

    + Occasional travel may be required

    + Flexibility to work various schedules and stay late when necessary with little or no notice

    + Must be able to read documents, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing

    + Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

     

    Legal Stuff

     

    + Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
