As a **Security Officer- Armed Healthcare Patrols** in **Dallas, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your presence and professionalism will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your armed status supports the protection of the premises. You will interact with individuals throughout the location, providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the healthcare location.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address issues as they arise.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols and throughout the shift.

+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for all individuals at the location.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, following established protocols and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site management.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Level III Armed Certification is required for roles in Texas.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
