As a Sr. Compensation Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of designing innovative compensation strategies that empower our global team and drive our mission of connecting the unconnected.
Key job responsibilities
- Design and analyze comprehensive compensation programs that support business objectives and talent strategies
- Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to develop compelling compensation recommendations
- Collaborate with regional and global compensation partners to solve complex compensation challenges
- Develop creative total compensation solutions, including base pay, incentives, and equity strategies
- Create detailed documentation and compensation playbooks to support organizational best practices

You'll engage with cross-functional partners, dive deep into compensation analysis, and craft solutions that support our team's exceptional talent. Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
- Minimum of 5 years experience in finance, compensation, or consulting with an in-depth knowledge of core compensation terminology and best practices.
- General compensation knowledge required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partner well with people at all levels within an organization, including coaching of junior staff
- Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred)
- Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently
- Experience Experience working with complex data sets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
