Title: Technology Assistant

Qualifications:

+ Ability to work cooperatively with staff and students.

+ Ability to follow through on projects with timely completion.

+ Attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

+ Experience with OS X, ChromeOS, and Windows configuration.

+ Experience with Networking and Wireless.

+ Practical working knowledge of computers, operating systems, hardware, peripherals, networking, and software.

+ Training and experience in computer/software troubleshooting.

Reports to: Director of Technology

Compensation: $21.06 – 27.75 per hour, based on qualifications

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm

Job Goal: To provide information technology services throughout the district for students and staff.

General Responsibilities:

+ Provide technical assistance for computer equipment, peripherals, and other technical equipment.

+ Provide support for Macintosh, Windows, iOS, iPads, Chromebooks, Phones, and other technical systems.

+ Manage configuration and deployment of devices and applications

+ Install, troubleshoot, update, and maintain operating systems and other software.

+ Maintain records of computers and jobs completed.

+ Work with and support needs of diverse groups, including students and staff.

+ Configure and deploy new or replacement computers.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

+ Work is performed while sitting or standing.

+ Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
